Seattle and Bellevue visit

During the labour day off, we decided to take a longer trip, out of Oregon and hence we had choosen Seattle, Washington as our destincation to spent two days one night vacation. Seattle is about 3.5 hours from Hillsboro. When we reached there, we first visit the Seattle Aquarium. The adult entrance fee is USD19 and children under 3 is free. There is a big aquarium at the entrance where divers feeding show start at 1pm, just nice timing for us. There are also another two feeding show, 1.30pm and 2pm each at different location on the aquarium. This aquarium is not very big but just nice for about 2hours'visit. And I like the design of it where it let you get closer to the marine life especially it let you touchess the star fish, awesome! Next we visited the Pike Place Market, where the world famous pike place company is located. They were famous because they enjoyed their works so much. They throw fish from one side to another and sing song. Now they even giving motivational talks to companies and sell books and T-shirt. Not only selling fresh seafood, the market also selling lots of other stuff, like vegetables, fruits, flowers, books, handicrafts, clothes and so on.
At night, we visited the Space Needle, the popular observation deck in Seattle. However since there was long queue, we didn't manage to went up to take a look, just taken a few photo from the outside. The next day, we went over to the east side of Seattle, the Bellevue city where the Microsoft headquarter is located. It's interesting that on the lower floors of the Microsoft building, there are many branded shop like LV, Jimmy Choo and others. I wonder if the microsoft employees will get good rates when they shop there :). There is also a very beautiful Botanical Garden in Bellevue and the entrance is free. It was run by the volunteer. One drawback about this garden is there were no public toilets except one that is inside the gift shop and so happen that day was closed. But luckily there are restrooms in the park beside the garden.
Overall, I would said it's a nice place to visit except that the parking fees is killing. An hour of USD4 is the cheapest you can find but you need to spent lots of time finding a empty slot :)
