Doughnut everywhere...

I like doughnut but I eat moderately because it is really too sweet and not good for health. Anyway, in US, you can find doughnut simple everywhere you go. In the grocery store, bakeries shop, in the mall, in the library caffee, and in those doughnut specialty shop like this famous portland doughnut shop - Voodoo Doughnut. How famous is this shop? Look at the que in the picture below and you can guess it!

Will, since so many poeple are queing, it must be extremely good, right? So my husband help to que under the hot sun for more than half an hour to get us half a dozen of the doughnut at about USD8++ (which is expensive compare to normal doughnut price where you can get at ~USD5 for a dozen). See what we get for ourselves in the picture below.

We first tried the original doughnut and guess what, we don't really like it! It was ok but not soooo good! My husband compliant that id doesn't worth his time for it! :) I think we just can't use to the riched filling and sweet coating of it. The doughnut is also very thick and not very soft. We wonder why it is so popular. Maybe Asian people generally can't take too sweet's thing. However, both of us like Krispy Kreme, especially their glazed doughnut, so yummy and even cheaper than Voodoo's doughnut!
