Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls is one of the most popular attractions in Oregon. This 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water lets you experience the power and beauty of nature up close and with ease. To get to the Multnomal falls, you can either take the direct route or the scenic route. The direct route is to take the exit 31off I-84 eastbound from Portland, to a parking area. Then, just follow the path under the highway to reach the falls viewing area. On the other hand, the scenic route required you to take the exit 28 and you will pass through another smaller fall on your right before reaching Multnomal falls. It is a narrow road with tall tress lining up on both sides of the road. The viewing area is quite spacious with couple of benches available here and there. We took quite a number of photos at the lower falls before we proceed to the upper fall by walking several hundred feet up the paved trail to reach Benson Bridge. Standing on the bridge give you a perfect view of the top tier's full 542-foot height and a knee-wobbling vantage point over the second tier's 69-foot drop! We didn't go all the way up to the top because of the little one, but i think it was already good experience enough for us. We really like the spectacular falls plus the cool weather and the nice environment. I plan to visit this fall again during autumn and winter time so that i will have different season view/photo of it :)
